1. Who we are
vantorri.com is operated by [LLC LEGAL NAME], a limited liability company formed in [STATE OF FORMATION], United States, trading as House of Vantorri ("VANTORRI", "we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal information described here. Our address is [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. For anything in this policy, write to info@vantorri.com.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
- When you order: your name, phone number, email, delivery and billing address, and order details.
- When you contact us: the content of your message and any photos you send (for example, photos for a damage claim).
- When you create an account or join our list: your login details and preferences.
Information collected automatically
- Device and browser type, IP address, approximate location, pages viewed, items added to your bag, and how you arrived at our site. Where this is done with cookies or similar technologies, it happens only according to your choice (see our Cookie Policy).
Payment information
- Card and PayPal payments are processed by our payment providers on their own secure pages. We never see or store your full card number.
- We keep the payment reference and amount so we can match payments to orders and process refunds.
3. How we use it, and our legal basis
If you are in the European Union, the law requires us to name the legal basis for each use:
- To process, confirm, deliver and support your order, including updates by email, and to handle returns, withdrawals, refunds and claims. Basis: performing our contract with you.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. Basis: legal obligation.
- To prevent fraud and fake orders, keep our site secure, and understand and improve how it is used (limited to what does not need your consent). Basis: our legitimate interests.
- To send you news of new pieces by email. We only do this if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Basis: your consent.
- To measure our site and show you VANTORRI ads on other platforms. We do this only through cookies you accept. Basis: your consent.
Your name, delivery address, email and phone number are needed to take and deliver an order; without them we cannot complete it. Everything else is optional. We do not make decisions about you by automated means alone.
4. Who we share it with
We share only what each service needs to do its job:
- Carriers and customs authorities: your name, phone, email and address, to deliver and return parcels and to clear them through customs.
- Payment providers and banks: to process card and PayPal payments and refunds.
- Technology providers: website hosting, email and messaging tools, and customer support tools.
- Analytics and advertising partners, only if you accept the matching cookies: Google (Analytics, Ads and Customer Reviews), Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, and Hotjar, as described in our Cookie Policy.
- Authorities: where the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Advertising cookies you accept let our advertising partners receive information about your visit. Under some US state privacy laws, that can count as a “sale” or “sharing” for advertising. If you reject advertising cookies, that sharing does not take place.
5. Reviews
After a purchase, we may invite you to review your order, including through Google Customer Reviews. If you accept, Google receives your email address, order number and delivery date to send the survey.
6. International transfers
We are based in the United States, and we and our service providers may process your information there and in [OTHER PROCESSING COUNTRIES]. When information about people in the European Union leaves the European Economic Area, we rely on a lawful transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Our representative in the European Union, where the law requires one: [EU REPRESENTATIVE].
7. How long we keep it
- Order and payment records: as long as needed for tax and accounting law, usually up to [6] years.
- Marketing data: until you unsubscribe. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and we act on it within 10 business days.
- Support messages and photos: until the related claim is closed, plus a reasonable period after.
8. Your rights and choices
Everyone
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing.
In the European Union
You also have the right to restrict or object to our use of your information, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time (withdrawing consent does not affect what we did before). You may complain to the data-protection supervisory authority in the country where you live, where you work, or where you think your rights were infringed.
In the United States
Depending on the state where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and share, to delete or correct it, to opt out of its sale or sharing for advertising, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. To opt out of that sharing, reject advertising cookies in our cookie settings (or write to us). Our site does not yet respond automatically to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control browser signals; your cookie choice is what we follow.
Email info@vantorri.com from the address linked to your order. We reply within one month (45 days where a US state law gives us that long). You can also manage cookies at any time through the cookie settings link in our footer.
9. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), limit access to the people who need it, and work only with established payment and technology providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
10. Children
Our site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
11. Changes
If we update this policy, we will change the date at the top. Important changes will be highlighted on our site.
